These kyphosis archives (pages and posts) detail what kyphosis is: the natural forward bending of the spine which is completely normal. However, the bend can sometimes be more severe than it should be, and is then called hyperkyphosis.

This is completely different than scoliosis as a scoliosis is a sideways or lateral bend (along with a 3D rotation) while hyperkyphosis are a forward bend characterized by a rounded or humped back.
